I don't have any specific information but I do have a suggestion. Look on e-bay for a "Motors Auto Repair Manual". Back in the day these books were the authoritative source for all things automotive. They were so good I rebuilt a 1954 Plymouth flat head six with the instructions from Motors at eleven years old.

You probably won't find an Olds specific Motors Auto Repair Manual for that year. Back then they had a range that would run say from 1955 through 1960 and it includes all makes and models Ford,GM, Mopar etc. I did see a 1958 manual on e-bay and since it was for a one year range it would have more detail and information.
