My husband and I enjoy cars of all types, but we are dedicated Chevrolet owners and would never consider any other brand. Now don't get us wrong, Fords are great, just not our thing. Too many interchangeability issues and a cost to perfomance ratio that jus t doesn't make sense. Now as for Dodge- Oh don't get us started!! I only hope that Dodge owners know that the early Ford Escorts ( as well as so many other 4-bangers) were HEMI's.......A Hemi is not an engine, it's a regular engine with a Hemispherical Combustion chamber. Now the 440 Wedge, that was an engine unique in its Wedge Block design, Hemi no. So frustrated with the whole Hemi thing and Dodge has really played it to the extreme. I could go into more detail, but I am already too aggrivated to continue :-)
My husband used to restore Camaro's for an individual who had more money than he knew what to do with, so he went all out in his resotoration efforts on these vehicles. That was 18 years ago, and now my husband and I are able to do our own cars the way we want them and enjoy every minute of it. Yes, we still argue over paint colors and other small things, but our vision has always been inline with each others.
