Hello! I can't say anything about those hotels that are located in the USA, but I know for sure that Canadian laws regulate such issues very seriously for local hotels. It's just great for me as a guest. I really like these small hotels for the meticulousness they show to the safety of their rooms. I can compare with some 4 season hotels. I always pay attention to whether the air conditioning in the room works. And small hotels are always ideal in this regard. Agree it's important when you've been driving for miles in hellish heat.
