Contemporary Historical Vehicle Assiociation

How Many Car Clubs in the Metro Atlanta Area can say they have had 35 consecutive annual car shows?  The CHVA of Cartersville can...  on June 12th at the Cartersville High School, the CHVA will host their 35th Annual Car, Truck, Motorcycle, and Tractor Show.  It is only a $15 pre-registration fee and you can get the form from WWW.CHVAGA.com

There is a class for every type of Vehicle. Authentic, Modified, Rat Rod, Truck, Motorcycle, or Tractor.  We even have a Model Car Show for kids and adults that award the same Trophies and Awards as the real cars..

Dan, You have a great Club there! I have been meaning to get more involved, but its been very busy here trying to get help building the website. Your support has been very much appreciated and you can count me in to help you with this show, as much as I can. Is there any specific things that you need? Keep us all posted on your progress getting the show ready. Mike T.
Mike,

I know what you mean about being Busy...Whew! It has been rough the past couple of months.

Please help me get the word out about this CHVA Show on June 12th, from 8AM to 2PM, at the Cartersville High School Campus. I am again the CHVA Car Show Chairperson.... and we have got some nice Plaques and Trophies lined up to give away to the winners, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, in each class, Best of Show in Authentic, Best of Show in Modified, Best CHVA Member in Show, Best of Show in Motorcycles, Best in Show Model Car, and Best of Show in Tractors, with speciality awards for Best Paint, Best Engine, Best Interior, Best Origonal Old Car, and Most Club Participation. The vehicles will be judged by CHVA national certified judges on a point system. We even have a Model Car Show for youth and adults that has the same plaques and awards as the real car with no entry fee. We should have a variety of vendors and if the weather is good we should have a nice show. You can copy and paste an entry form from www.CHVAGA.com and mail it into our club P.O.Box and save $10.00 bucks from the show day entry fee of $25.00. I have also attached an entry form and class schedule to web site and it can be completed and mailed to:

CHVA Etowah-Bartow Region,
P.O. Box 34
Cartersville, GA 30120

Thanks for your help,
Lt. Dan Wade

Lt. Dan,
I sent out a message about it (basically your note and a link the webpage) to over 1100 Facebook Friends and we are announcing it at all our shows at Dixie Cruisers. Let em know if there is anything else I can do.
Mike
PS do you thing you can get a crew out for our shindig at Father's Day weekend at Road Atlanta. It sounds like you all could use a break! Mike http://www.southeastwheelsevents.com/events/classic-car-show-and-ra...
Hi Dan, I will try to make it. On several occasions in the past I have invited the CHVA to my events at Road Atlanta, with apparently no interest. I think ir is very important that the younger generation always keeps touch with the past. Please extend my invitation to the group for my June 18-20 at Road Atlanta.
