Festival Antique Car & Tractor Show. Visit the Cordele-Crisp County area thru June 25 for the 67th Annual Watermelon Days Festival. The main day of the festival will be Saturday, June 25, and will feature a parade, arts & crafts, entertainment, free slices of watermelon, a truck and car display, an antique tractor and equipment display, and water¬melon related competitions such as seed spitting, fast eating, etc.

Over four thousand acres of melons are grown in Crisp County which has the ideal soil to grow this delicious fruit. More than 200 million pounds of watermelons each year are shipped through the Cordele State Farmers Market.
