The foster parents of Hall County would like to invite you to our second annual car show on May 5th at the Hayes Chrysler dealership in Gainesville. All the money that we make will go toward getting every foster child in our county Christmas gifts.  Last year we were able to get over 150 children something to open on Christmas morning!!

Back in the 70's I took in on trade a Daytona Spyder (and some cash) for a 300 SL gulwing.

It need it a clutch and only had 24K miles. I gave it to my wife for Mothers day. I was owner number 2 of that car. We sold it shortly before moving to California. Not to long after we opened our shop in Berkeley, The Owner and the Daytona showed up at our shop. He moved to CA. too. We took care of that car until the late 80's when it was sold at auction for 6 mil. However I always liked the lines of the Ghibli better. In 2001, just before moving to Georgia I was visiting my friend at Fantasy Junction, While I was talking to Bruce a Gold Ghibli Coupe rolled in, it had such a sweet sound. It was a survivor, not pristine but very nice. I took it for a drive and reality hit home, I was moving to Atlanta, not the best environment to enjoy this car. I should have bought it any way. The Customer needed money now and would take $12,000. Oh well. I miss California..
