Hey GSRA!
As agreed at the meeting today, GSRA now has a FaceBook Page. Please, those folks on FaceBook go to and "Like" Georgia Street Rod Association. :-) https://www.facebook.com/pages/Georgia-Street-Rod-Association/56507...
Let me know if anyone else is interested in being a manager. Thanks,
Mike
Check out the meeting for tomorrow:
I hear that Marilyn Sanders is having an auction on May 5 as she needs to be out of Carlos' shop by May 7! What a loss for her, her husband of forty years and her business all in one blow. Please let's get the word out and go and help her clean out. She needs to sell everything; tools, machinery, lifts, parts, & cars. I expect they will post it on the Events Calendar soon.
This is a great chance to get free, high quality photographs of your cars. I am going to get some of my new 356 Porsche. We help get cars and bikes into commercial and movies, as well! Mike 770-883-0160 Mike@SouthEastWheelsEvents.com

We just finished the first heat at Hot Rodders Of Tomorrow at the Performance and Racing Expo here in Illinois. Thomas County Schools from Georgia were the unofficial heat winner! I will keep you posted. Mike
Let's see how many of the GSRA members we can get over to Snellville this Sunday! :-)
We could significantly improve communications if we had a larger percentage of GSRA as members here in this group! Any suggestions?

1958 Porsche 356 Speedster
The 1958 Porsche 356 Speedster marks the swan song of one of Porsche’s most iconic and minimalist models. Originally introduced in 1954 at the urging of U.S. importer Max Hoffman, the Speedster was designed to be a low cost, lightweight, stripped-down entry sports car that could double as a weekend racer, especially for the California sports car scene. With its low windshield,…

1948 Rover P3 Saloon
The 1948 Rover P3 Saloon marked a pivotal moment in the evolution of British motoring. Introduced in the immediate aftermath of World War II, the P3 was a bridge between prewar craftsmanship and the modern engineering ethos that would come to define Rover’s future. Although its styling retained many traditional elements, including an upright grille, separate fenders, and rear-hinged front…

The Volunteer Gap: Thoughts on Why Car Clubs Are Struggling to Fill Leadership Roles, and What to Do About It
With car shows, cruise-ins, tours, parades and varied events across the country, car clubs continue to bring enthusiasts together for camaraderie, preservation, and celebration of automotive history. But behind the scenes, many of these clubs are hitting a serious speed bump: no one wants to take the wheel. Volunteer-run clubs are facing an increasingly common…
