We are only a week away from another fun trip to Anniston and the "Victoria". The weather is starting to improve greatly with warmer days and sunny skies. What better way to say good bye to the winter blahs than getting behind the wheel of an old car and driving to Anniston and spending time with people who enjoy Packards and Imperials like yourself. We have arranged for a block of rooms at the reduced rate of $69.00 per night which includes their breakfast buffet on Saturday and Sunday mornings. These meals are served from 6:00 til 9:00 AM. You can call to make reservations with the Victoria directly at 1-256-236-0503, mention the Packard club to get the correct rate.
There will be a welcome / cocktail party on Friday evening, March 18, in Room 111 from 7:00 until. Saturday will be left for driving and enjoying the cars and the people. We usually get together and drive someplace for lunch, there are many places close by in case you would rather walk. In the evening on Saturday, we will be having dinner at Classic on Noble, a short drive from the Victoria. Your dinner is a choice of one of three entrees which include salad, dessert and coffee or tea, tax and gratuity and is priced at $35.00 inclusive.
There will be videos shown throughout the weekend and as always plenty of time to sit and visit and kick tires and welcome the start of the driving season. Make your plans now and we  look forward to seeing you  next  weekend in Anniston.
If you do plan to attend, please give Donald a call at 205-249-2481. Thank you.

The 1948 Ford F-1 Pickup

The 1948 Ford F-1 wasn’t just a new truck, it was the start of something big. When Ford introduced it, they launched the very first F-Series, the truck line that would become America’s favorite for generations. This was the first Ford pickup built on a dedicated truck chassis rather than a car-based frame,…

The “Car Guy’s Garage”

Step inside a place like this and you can almost hear the echoes of every wrench turned and every engine fired back to life. The light hums off the old signs, Route 66, Coca-Cola, Phillips 66, and the smell is that unmistakable mix of oil, leather, and stories. This isn’t just a garage. It’s a…
