Garage71 and Grease Inc invite you, the devoted Hellraisers and Wildcats of the Deep south and all over the country, to the one and only HELL ON WHEELS 2013!!

That’s right. Its the return of the rubber scorching, hot rodding, pin-up modelling, all-american event that all of you are welcome to come on in! Join us, the Garage71 crew as we host the one event dedicated to the faithful readers, listeners and patrons of the scene right here in Georgia.

This is not -just- some event you can dot on your calendar, this is an event that eats up your calendar and spits it out as a flaming ball. We’re talking builder vendor village including the many custom and local builders you often see around at alot of events we personally go to.

Packing in some true Georgia heat, we have a HUGE classic car and bike auction, on top of a titanic car and bike show! Things really get tough with the all powerful strong man contest, where the guys of the thickest muscles compete to see who picks who out of their teeth as the strongest guy of all!

And what’s Hell on Wheels without ink? No, not just a tiny squirt, it’s going to rain ink with the Tattoo Contest! See the best of the best and watch the needles fly as the most heated competition in the year. Of course, what are tattoos without a hot gal checking out the new art? RagDolls, and alot of them!! Not just the currents either, as we want all you lovely little ladies to sport those rockin’ bodies as we search for the next lucky women to be RagDolls! How to wrap this up you ask? With live music starring the Living Deads. This fire igniting, soul burning, heartstopping band will be tearing it up on stage along with others, and we are always looking to add more!!

All this, and much more and we want this year’s event even BIGGER! We are constantly scouting out more and more vendors to participate. Food, jewelry, clothing, parts, ink, and all the favorites are welcome to book their spots!

Information can be sent and found @ 404-437-6069 OR info@garage71.com

1958 Porsche 356 Speedster

The 1958 Porsche 356 Speedster marks the swan song of one of Porsche’s most iconic and minimalist models. Originally introduced in 1954 at the urging of U.S. importer Max Hoffman, the Speedster was designed to be a low cost, lightweight, stripped-down entry sports car that could double as a weekend racer, especially for the California sports car scene. With its low windshield,…

1948 Rover P3 Saloon

The 1948 Rover P3 Saloon marked a pivotal moment in the evolution of British motoring. Introduced in the immediate aftermath of World War II, the P3 was a bridge between prewar craftsmanship and the modern engineering ethos that would come to define Rover’s future. Although its styling retained many traditional elements, including an upright grille, separate fenders, and rear-hinged front…

The Volunteer Gap: Thoughts on Why Car Clubs Are Struggling to Fill Leadership Roles, and What to Do About It

With car shows, cruise-ins, tours, parades and varied events across the country, car clubs continue to bring enthusiasts together for camaraderie, preservation, and celebration of automotive history. But behind the scenes, many of these clubs are hitting a serious speed bump: no one wants to take the wheel. Volunteer-run clubs are facing an increasingly common…

Why It’s Hard to Recruit Younger Members to Volunteer Car Clubs, and How to Fix It

Car clubs have long been the social engine of the collector car world, bringing people together to swap parts, plan road trips, attend shows, and preserve automotive history. But in recent years, many volunteer-run car clubs have struggled with a pressing problem: recruiting and retaining younger members. The concern isn’t just about numbers, it’s about sustainability. As the…
