Event Description

This is the 2nd Annual Fort Rucker Better Opportunities for Single Soldier Car Show. Saturday 28 May 2011 from 1200hrs To 1600hrs. This event is partnered with Lake Fest on Fort Rucker’s West Beach, Lake Tholocco. 

Categories: Motorcycles, Cars and Trucks.

 

This event is (Open to the Public) 

 

Registration before 21 May is $15.00

Registration after 21 May is $20.00

 

Trophies will be awarded to the top three winners in each category (Chosen by panel of judges) & a trophy awarded to the best in show (chosen by Patrons)

This event generates funds to help subsidized costs for single Soldiers, geographical bachelors, and single parents Soldiers to attend Recreation/Leisure activities at a reduced cost. These funds also help the Soldiers put on community service projects such as "Fishing with Awaiting Families and the Survivor Out Reach Services" in a fun filled day of fishing and cookout. This event has over 30 kids who participate, these kids have a parent who is Deployed or was Killed in Action.
